Site Preparation

The first step in building your home is preparing the land to ensure a safe and stable foundation.

  • Surveying & Soil Analysis – Confirm property boundaries and evaluate soil conditions to ensure proper structural support.

  • Site Clearing – Remove trees, debris, and obstacles to prepare the building area.

  • Grading & Leveling – Shape the land to ensure proper drainage and a level building surface.

  • Utility Mapping & Relocation – Identify existing utilities and relocate them if necessary to accommodate construction.

Foundation

With the site prepared, we begin constructing the base that supports your entire home.

  • Homesite prepared for construction

  • Excavation and foundation pouring

  • Rough plumbing installed for in-floor heating only

  • ICF block walls constructed where applicable

Framing

This stage gives your home its structure and shape.

  • Construction of exterior walls, roof trusses, interior partitions, and gable ladders

  • Interior wall framing

  • Installation of roofing and siding

  • Installation of windows, exterior doors, and garage doors

At this stage, the home is “closed in.” Systems that go inside the walls—such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and insulation—are installed and inspected.

Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical

After framing is complete, all essential mechanical systems are installed.

  • Plumbing – Supply lines, drain lines, and rough connections

  • Electrical – Wiring for outlets, switches, and lighting

  • HVAC – Heating, cooling, and ventilation systems including ductwork

These systems are installed and inspected before the walls are finished.

Insulation & Drywall

Once mechanical inspections are completed, the home begins to take on its finished interior appearance.

  • Insulation installed in exterior walls

  • Soundproofing where required

  • Drywall installation, taping, sanding, and preparation

  • Interior walls primed and painted

  • Blown insulation installed in the attic

Finish Carpentry & Painting

Now your design selections begin to come to life.

  • Installation of interior doors, trim, and woodwork

  • Installation of cabinets, vanities, and countertops

  • Plumbing fixtures and HVAC finishes

  • Interior painting and touch-ups

Flooring and Finishing Touches

The finishing stage brings your home to completion.

  • Installation of hardwood, tile, vinyl, and carpet flooring

  • Installation of lighting fixtures and final plumbing fixtures

  • Final paint touch-ups

  • Comprehensive quality control inspection

  • Professional cleaning of the entire home

Home Upgrades

Your home is completed with final upgrades and exterior improvements.

  • Landscaping enhancements

  • Exterior lighting installation

  • Smart home feature setup and configuration

Your Construction Manager will guide you through the operation and maintenance of these systems to ensure you get the most from your new home.

Homeowner Walkthrough

Before move-in, we conduct a final walkthrough with you to ensure everything meets our quality standards.

At closing, you will receive:

  • All necessary purchase documentation

  • A comprehensive home warranty package

  • Maintenance guidelines for your new home

This ensures you feel confident and fully prepared to enjoy your new home.
